Purging the Cache

Version: Oracle Identity Manager 11g R2
Description: The PurgeCache utility can be used to purge all elements in the cache.
Before running the PurgeCache utility you need to set the following environment variables in your bash profile:

APP_SERVER
OIM_ORACLE_HOME
JAVA_HOME
MW_HOME
WL_HOME
DOMAIN_HOME

Example:
JAVA_HOME=/home/oracle/java/jrockit64
APP_SERVER=weblogic
OIM_ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1
MW_HOME=/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware
WL_HOME=$MW_HOME/wlserver_10.3
DOMAIN_HOME=/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/base_domain

Script Location:
IDM_HOME/server/bin
E.g. /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/bin

To purge everything, pass the value "ALL" to the PurgeCache utility:
./PurgeCache.sh ALL

During the script execution you will be prompted to enter the OIM administrator username, password, and OIM service URL.
